David Otero is a singer, guitarist and composer, born in Madrid (Spain) on 17 April 1980. He was a member of the famous pop rock band El Canto del Loco (1994–2010). After the band's break-up, he started his solo career as "El Pescao", recently changing it to his own name: David Otero.

He is a former NCAA basketball player and coach, having played and coached there for over a decade before moving on to the NBA.
