Evrim Alataş was a Kurdish writer, journalist, screen writer and human rights activist. Alataş is described as the first female Kurdish writer of Turkey. Her works include the film Min Dît: The Children of Diyarbakır from 2009, which won the grand jury prize at the 46th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

Lee Yong-woo is a South Korean actor and dancer. He graduated from the Korea National University of Arts with a degree in Dance and joined the modern dance company Laboratory Dance Project in 2001. Lee made his acting debut in 2009 and has since starred in television dramas such as Style and Birdie Buddy. He is also one of the coaches/judges in the reality competition show Dancing 9.

Helene Hanff was an American writer born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is best known as the author of the book 84, Charing Cross Road, which became the basis for a stage play, television play, and film of the same name.

Bruno Torpigliani was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He was made an archbishop in 1964 and served as Apostolic Nuncio to several countries, including the Philippines for 17 years.

Marcus Eugene Douthit is a Filipino-American former basketball player. He graduated from Providence College. After his stint with the Providence Friars, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2004 NBA draft. Born in Syracuse, New York, he became a naturalized Filipino citizen on March 11, 2011, thus allowing him to play for the Philippines' men's national basketball team.
