Suryadi, alternatively spelled as Soerjadi, was an Indonesian politician who served as the chairman of the Indonesian Democratic Party from 1986 until 1998. He became prominent for his faction's involvement in the 27 July 1996 incident, or more commonly known as the Kudatuli incident.

Gunning Bedford Jr. was a delegate to the Congress of the Confederation, Attorney General of Delaware, a delegate to the Constitutional Convention in 1787 which drafted the United States Constitution, a signer of the United States Constitution and a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Gerald C. Duffy was a screenwriter of the silent film era, as well as a journalist, and short story writer and copyeditor. Samuel Hubbard Scudder was an American entomologist and paleontologist. He was a leading figure in entomology during his lifetime and the founder of insect paleontology in America. In addition to fossil insects, he was an authority on butterflies (Lepidoptera) and grasshoppers (Orthoptera).
