Isa Yusuf Alptekin or ʿĪsa Yūsuf Alptekin, known in China as Ai Sha, was an Uyghur ultra-nationalist and pan-Turkic politician who served the Chinese Nationalist (KMT) regime and opposed both the First East Turkistan Republic and the Second East Turkestan Republic. When East Turkestan (Xinjiang) came under Communist Chinese control, Alptekin went into exile from China in 1949.

Li Chengpeng is a prominent writer and social critic in the People's Republic of China. Well known in China for his reportage and social commentary—Li's Sina Weibo blog had nearly six million followers — Li made international headlines in 2011 when he announced that he would seek political office as an independent candidate in his hometown of Chengdu, Sichuan province. While not technically illegal, the decision represented a rare and bold move in a country where candidates for political office are typically appointed by the Communist Party of China.

Since October 2017, he is the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He was born in Yining (Ghulja). He went to Tianjin University. He was the former Mayor of Ürümqi. He studied computer science in Hubei Province.
