Gladys May Casely-Hayford alias Aquah Laluah was a Gold Coast-born Sierra Leonean writer. She is credited as the first author to write in the Krio language.
Emmanuel Donkor
Emmanuel Yaw Donkor is a Ghanaian badminton player. He competed at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. In 2016, he was the runner-up at the Rose Hill International tournament in the mixed doubles event partnered with Gifty Mensah. Teamed-up with Stella Amasah, they were the finalist at the 2017 Benin International tournament. He and Amasah also the semi-finalist at the Ivory Coast International tournament. He educated at the University of Cape Coast.

The Most Reverend Charles Gabriel Palmer- Buckle is a Ghanaian Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church, a former teacher and a key figure in the political scene in Ghana. He is currently the Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast and is the second Ghanaian native to become Archbishop of Accra. Installed in 2005, he became the 4th Ordinary for Accra since its establishment as a diocese. He was also the first Bishop of Koforidua.
