Claes Edvin Johansson was a Swedish wrestler who competed in the 1912, 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics and won two gold medals, in 1912 and 1920. In 1913 he won the unofficial European Championships in the 75 kg division.

Björn Lennart Runge is a Swedish director and author. He was nominated for The Nordic Council Film Prize in 2006 for Mun mot mun.

Karl Gustaf Westman was a Swedish historian and political leader.

Per Jacobsson was a Swedish economist, and managing director of the International Monetary Fund from 21 November 1956 until his death in 1963. Born in Tanum, Bohuslän, Jacobsson received degrees in law and economics from the Uppsala University. He was employed at the League of Nations from 1920 to 1928, then the Bank of International Settlements from 1931. In December 1956, he became Managing Director of the IMF, a position he held until his death 5 May 1963. He was buried in the Swedish Section of Brookwood Cemetery.

Torbjörn Blomdahl is a Swedish professional carom billiards player from Helsingborg, Sweden. He is a six time World Champion in three-cushion billiards, having won the titles in 1987, 1988, 1991, 1997, 2015 and in 2019.

Mervan Çelik is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Swedish club GAIS. He has previously played for GAIS, Rangers, Pescara, Gençlerbirliği, Akhisar Belediyespor, Häcken, and Fatih Karagümrük. He has represented Sweden at youth international level.
