Michael P. Reese was an American politician. A Republican, he served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2009 until his death in 2021. Reese was secretary of the Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus for the 2019–2020 session, and had been elected to serve as caucus chairman in 2021. At age 42, Reese died of a suspected brain aneurysm.

Isabella Maria Boyd, best known as Belle Boyd, was a Confederate spy in the American Civil War. She operated from her father's hotel in Front Royal, Virginia, and provided valuable information to Confederate General Stonewall Jackson in 1862.

Murkowski is notable for having appointed his daughter, Lisa Murkowski, to replace him in the U.S. Senate after he resigned his Senate seat to become governor of Alaska.
