Christof Innerhofer is an Italian World Cup alpine ski racer, the 2011 world champion in super-G. He competed in all five alpine disciplines and specializes in the speed events of downhill and super-G.

Christian Kuntner was an Italian extreme climber. He died in May 2005 while climbing the Annapurna from North Side.

Stefano Gross is a World Cup alpine ski racer from northern Italy. Born in Bozen, South Tyrol, Gross was raised in Pozza di Fassa in Trentino; he races in the technical events and specializes in the slalom.

Gilberto Simoni is an Italian former professional road bicycle racer, most recently for Lampre–Farnese Vini. Simoni is twice winner of the Giro d'Italia cycling race. Simoni might have won a third Giro, but in 2002 he tested positive for cocaine and was withdrawn from the race by his Saeco team – he was later cleared of any doping violation by the Italian Cycling Federation. Aside from this incident in 2002 he finished on the podium in every other Giro between 1999 and 2006.

Alexia Runggaldier is an Italian former biathlete. She competed at the Biathlon World Championships 2012 and 2013. She represented Italy at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
