Thomas John "T. J." Lang is a former American football guard. He played college football at Eastern Michigan and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Lang was a member of the Packers' Super Bowl XLV win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has also played for the Detroit Lions.

Before this nomination he worked since 1978 as a civil servant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rabat. He also served as Consul and Ambassador of Morocco to multiple Spanish-speaking countries and was Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean until February 2012.

He was the Minister for Workplace Relations, Immigration, and ACC. He was dismissed by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern from Cabinet on 22 July after an affair with a staffer over 12 months. He did not stand for reelection in the 2020 election.
