Erich Hagen was a German cyclist who competed at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics.His sporting career began with SC Wissenschaft Leipzig. In 1956, he finished in 22nd place in the individual road race. His team won a bronze medal in the road race, but he did not score. In 1960, he won a silver medal in the 100 km team time trial and finished 21st in the road race.

Frank Terpe is a German mathematician and retired Politician (SDP/SPD).

Alf Teichs (1904–1992) was a German screenwriter and film producer. During the Nazi era, Teichs was head of production at Terra Film. After the Second World War, Teichs set up Comedia-Film with the comedian Heinz Rühmann.

Dr. Wolfgang Benjamin Klemperer was born in Dresden, Germany, the son of the Austrian nationals Leon and Charlotte Klemperer. He was in his time a prominent aviation and aerospace scientist and engineer, who ranks among the pioneers of early aviation.
