Mikhail Petrovich Ivanov ; born 20 November 1977 in Ostrov, Soviet Union) is a Russian cross-country skier who competed from 1996 to 2007. He finished 2nd in the 50 km at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City to Spain's Johann Mühlegg, but was awarded the gold medal upon Mühlegg's blood-doping disqualification of darbepoetin alfa.

Pavel Sergeyevich Tonkov is a former professional road racing cyclist from Russia. His talents were first showcased when winning the world junior title as part of the Soviet Union team in 1987. This alerted the world to his talents, and he turned pro in 1992 with the RUSS-Baïkal team. His biggest success was the overall win in the 1996 edition of the Giro d'Italia. He also placed 2nd in the following two editions of the Italian race.

Marina Evgenievna Cherkasova is a Russian retired pair skater. With Sergei Shakhrai, she won the 1979 European title at the age of 14. At 15, she was the 1980 Olympic silver medalist and 1980 World champion.

Irina Petrovna Beletskaya is a professor of chemistry at Moscow State University. She specialises in organometallic chemistry and its application to problems in organic chemistry. She is best known for her studies on aromatic reaction mechanisms, as well as work on carbanion acidity and reactivity. She developed some of the first methods for carbon-carbon bond formation using palladium or nickel catalysts, and extended these reactions to work in aqueous media. She also helped to open up the chemistry of organolanthanides.

Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Surikov, is a Russian statesman, who served as the ambassador to Belarus from 2006 to 2018. He also served as the third governor of Altai Krai from 1996 to 2004.

Vladimir Mikhailovich Tatosov was a Russian stage, television, voice and film actor. He had an honorary title People's Artist of the RSFSR (1991).

Victor Tatarskiy was a Russian radio and television presenter. He was honored as the Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1988) and as the People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2012).
