Józef Oleksy (listen) was a Polish left-wing politician, former chairman of the Democratic Left Alliance.

Joanna Grudzińska was a Polish noble, a Princess of Łowicz and the second wife of Grand Duke Constantine Pavlovich of Russia, the de facto viceroy of the Kingdom of Poland. This marriage cost Constantine the crown of Russia.

Robert Gonera is a Polish film, stage and television actor. He played leading roles in Krzysztof Krauze's political drama Street Games and the thriller The Debt, for which he received Best Actor at the Polish Film Awards:Eagles. Kazimierz Nycz is a Polish prelate, a Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He is the current Archbishop of Warsaw, having previously served as Bishop of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg from 2004 to 2007. Pope Benedict XVI elevated Archbishop Nycz to the status of Cardinal in the consistory of 20 November 2010.
