Sun Yun-suan was a Chinese engineer and politician. As minister of economic affairs from 1969 to 1978 and Premier of the Republic of China from 1978 to 1984, he was credited for overseeing the transformation of Taiwan from being a mainly agricultural economy to an export powerhouse.

Chen Zhizhao Chinese: 陈志钊; pinyin: Chén Zhìzhāo; born 14 March 1988), known as Zizao in Brazil, is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super League.

Ji Gong, born Li Xiuyuan and also known as "Chan Master Daoji" was a Chan Buddhist monk who lived in the Southern Song. He purportedly possessed supernatural powers, which he used to help the poor and stand up to injustice. However, he was also known for his wild and eccentric behavior, who didn't follow Buddhist monastic rules by consuming alcohol and meat. By the time of his death, Ji Gong had become a legend in Chinese culture and a deity in Chinese folk religion. He is mentioned by Buddhists in folktales and kōans, and sometimes invoked by oracles to assist in worldly affairs.

Li Shuwen (1864–1934) was a master practitioner of the Chinese martial art of Bajiquan. He was known as "God Spear Li" (神槍李). His prowess was said to be enough that he boasted that he did not have to strike the same opponent twice. He was a martial arts adviser of Fu Zhensong, notably once fighting him to a draw. Li's students eventually became personal bodyguards for Mao Zedong, Chiang Kai-shek, and Henry Pu-Yi.

Ding Shisun was a Chinese mathematician, academic administrator, and politician. He served as President of Peking University during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and was forced to resign afterwards. He later served as Chairman of the China Democratic League from 1996 to 2005 and Vice Chairperson of the National People's Congress.

Xuecheng is a Buddhist monk, a former member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and a popular blogger. He was president of the Buddhist Association of China from 2015 to 2018 when he resigned after allegations that he had engaged in corruption and sexual assault surfaced. He was ordered to be punished by the National Religious Affairs Administration after they corroborated the allegations.

Sa Dingding is a Chinese folk singer and songwriter. She is of mixed Han Chinese and Mongol ancestry, and sings in languages including Mandarin Chinese, English, Standard Tibetan, as well as an imaginary self-created language to evoke emotions in her songs. She also plays traditional instruments such as the guzheng and morin khuur.

Yang Lan is a Chinese media proprietor, journalist, and talk show host. She is the co-founder and chairperson of the Sun Media Group and the Sun Culture Foundation. In 2013, she was ranked number 100 in Forbes magazine's 100 World’s Most Powerful Women.

Stanley Ng Chau-pei is a Hong Kong pro-Beijing politician and trade unionist and the incumbent President and former Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (HKFTU), the largest trade union in Hong Kong, and also a Hong Kong deputy to the National People's Congress.
