Joseph Francis "Sonny" Burke was an American musical arranger, composer, Big Band leader and producer. In 1937, he graduated from Duke University, where he had formed and led the jazz big band known as the Duke Ambassadors.

Lisa Waltz is an American actress who has had roles in many television shows and who played Nora in the film adaptation of Brighton Beach Memoirs.

Matthew Alton Cartwright is an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 8th congressional district since 2013. The district, numbered as the 17th district from 2013 through 2019, includes a large swath of northeastern Pennsylvania, anchored by Scranton, Wilkes-Barre and the Poconos. A member of the Democratic Party, Cartwright defeated 10-term incumbent Blue Dog Tim Holden, the dean of the Pennsylvania congressional delegation, in the Democratic primary on April 24, 2012, by a 57%–43% margin. Cartwright went on to defeat Republican Laureen Cummings in the general election on November 6, 2012, by a 61%–39% margin. As an attorney, Cartwright previously worked at the law firm of Munley, Munley, and Cartwright.

Ruth Price is an American jazz singer and Artistic Director of the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, California. Price attended ballet school in 1952. In 1954, she sang with Charlie Ventura and later worked as a singer and dancer in Philadelphia and New York City. She moved to Hollywood in 1957 and toured with Harry James from 1964 to 1965. In the 1960s and 1970s she had several TV appearances both as herself in musical specials and as an actress in popular TV shows of the time.

Charlie Cheever is the co-founder, along with Adam D'Angelo, of Quora, an online knowledge market. He was formerly an engineer and manager at Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Cheever was employed by Amazon.com in Seattle. He left Facebook to start Quora in June 2009. He stepped down from active management of Quora in September 2012 but remains an advisor. In 2016 it was announced that he is working as the CEO of Expo, a startup company that is a "translation machine for mobile app code".

Melanie Smith is a former American actress. She has appeared as Jerry's girlfriend, Rachel, in three episodes of Seinfeld. She was also the third actress to portray Tora Ziyal on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and had a starring role as Emily Stewart on As the World Turns in the early 1990s. Smith has since retired from acting and runs a yoga studio in Pennsylvania.

Samuel Walker McCall was a Republican lawyer, politician, and writer from Massachusetts. He was for twenty years (1893–1913) a member of the United States House of Representatives, and the 47th Governor of Massachusetts, serving three one-year terms (1916–19). He was a moderately progressive Republican who sought to counteract the influence of money in politics.
