Lenny Krayzelburg is an American former backstroke swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and former world record holder. He swam in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, winning a total of four Olympic gold medals.

Alexander Tsymbalyuk is a Ukrainian bass opera singer, a member of the Hamburg State Opera. He made his debut with The Royal Opera for the 2013/14 season, singing the Commendatore in Don Giovanni.

Yakov Godorozha is a Ukrainian former competitive figure skater. He is a two-time Ukrainian national champion. He began learning to skate under the guidance of Georgi Starkov at the Ldinka rink in Odessa, and later trained in Dnipropetrovsk and Kiev, where he was coached by Marina Amirkhanova. At the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy, Godorozha earned a spot for Ukraine in the men's event at the 2014 Winter Olympics. He finished 20th in Sochi. He retired from competition in August 2014.

Vyacheslav Vasylovych Zahorodnyuk is a Ukrainian former competitive figure skater. He represented the USSR until its dissolution and then represented Ukraine. He is the 1994 World bronze medalist, 1996 European champion, and 1989 World Junior champion.

Michael "Misha" Shmerkin is an Israeli former competitive figure skater. He is a two-time Skate Canada International silver medalist, 1993 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion, and 1995 Skate Israel champion. He competed in the final segment at two Winter Olympics, six World Championships, and four European Championships. He is currently a figure skating teacher/coach for many young adults and children. He is located in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.
