Joseph Willem Mengelberg was a Dutch conductor, famous for his performances of Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler and Strauss with the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Eva Bal was a Dutch theatre director. She was a key person in the development of the youth theatre in Flanders, Belgium. She was the founder, director and artistic director of the Speeltheater Gent. On 3 October 2000, Bal was ennobled by Albert II of Belgium for her pioneering work in youth theater and was given the personal title of Baroness.

Frederik van den Bergh was a soldier in the Eighty Years' War. His titles included Lord of Boxmeer.

Jan van Huysum, also spelled Huijsum, was a Dutch painter.

Petrus Josephus Hubertus "Pierre" Cuypers was a Dutch architect. His name is most frequently associated with the Amsterdam Central Station (1881–1889) and the Rijksmuseum (1876–1885), both in Amsterdam. More representative for his oeuvre, however, are numerous churches, of which he designed more than 100. Moreover, he restored many monuments.
