Jaka Blažič is a Slovenian professional basketball player for Cedevita Olimpija of the Slovenian League, the ABA League and the EuroCup. He also represents the Slovenian national basketball team. Standing at 1.96 m, he plays the shooting guard and small forward positions.

Roman Jerala is a Slovenian biochemist and synthetic biologist, internationally best known as the leader of Slovenian teams that won the Grand prize at the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition several times.
Grega Bole
Grega Bole is a Slovenian professional road bicycle racer, who most recently rode for UCI WorldTeam Bahrain–McLaren. His biggest victory is the 2011 GP Ouest–France, where he launched a solo attack with 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to go. He held on as the field was closing in rapidly, with only Simon Gerrans who was second on the day being awarded the same time as Bole. In 2015, Bole was the victor of the first stage of the inaugural Tour of Croatia after negotiating a series of bends where two crashes occurred.
Teodora Poštič
Teodora Poštič is a Slovenian former figure skater. She is a four-time (2006–09) Slovenian national champion and reached the free skate at four ISU Championships – three Europeans and one Junior Worlds. By placing fifth at the 2009 Nebelhorn Trophy, she qualified a spot for Slovenia in the ladies' figure skating event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She placed 27th at the Olympics.
