His brother, Robb Riddick, was a running back with the Buffalo Bills for eight seasons. His cousins, Will Lewis and Tim Lewis, also played in the NFL and currently hold management positions for professional football teams. He is currently an analyst for ESPN on Monday Night Football alongside Steve Levy and Brian Griese.

Mohammed Shami Ahmed is an Indian international cricketer who plays for the Indian national cricket team. He is known as a Reverse swing specialist. He is a right-arm fast bowler, who consistently bowls around the 145 to 150 km/h mark, and swings and seams ball at that pace which makes him a deceptively potent fast bowler. He made his ODI debut against Pakistan in January 2013 where he bowled a record four maiden overs. He picked a five-wicket haul on his Test debut against West Indies in November 2013. On 23 January 2019 he became the fastest Indian bowler to take 150 ODI wickets. On 22 June 2019, Shami took a hat-trick against Afghanistan in world cup 2019 and India record's 50th World Cup win, and Shami became the fourth Indian cricketer to do so in One Day Cricket after Chetan Sharma, Kapil Dev and Kuldeep Yadav.

Owain Wyn Evans is a Welsh journalist, broadcaster and award-winning television presenter, currently working for the BBC as a weather presenter for television and radio. He played college football at USC, where he earned consensus All-American honors twice and won the Heisman Trophy as the most outstanding player in the nation. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints second overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. While with the Saints, Bush was named an All-Pro punt returner in 2008 and won Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 over the Indianapolis Colts. He also played for the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers.
