Malcolm Goldstein is an American-Canadian composer, violinist and improviser who has been active in the presentation of new music and dance since the early 1960s. He received an M.A. in music composition from Columbia University in 1960, having studied with Otto Luening. In the 1960s in New York City, he was a co-founder with James Tenney and Philip Corner of the Tone Roads Ensemble and was a participant in the Judson Dance Theater, the New York Festival of the Avant-Garde and the Experimental Intermedia Foundation. Since then, he has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, with solo concerts as well as with new music and dance ensembles.

Cecilia Banu was a scholar of Iranian studies, a poet and a translator from the Persian language to Russian. She is best known for her multi-volume translation of the Shahnameh of Ferdowsi.

Daniel Zissel Freedman is an American theoretical physicist. He is an Emeritus Professor of Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and is currently a visiting professor at Stanford University. He is known for his work in supergravity. Daniel Freedman is also widely known for his contributions in the fields of computer science, cognitive psychology, literature and arts.

George Arthur Lindbeck (1923–2018) was an American Lutheran theologian. He was best known as an ecumenicist and as one of the fathers of postliberal theology.
