From 2002 to 2007, Li served as the Communist Party of China Secretary of Jiangsu, the top leader of an area of significant economic development. Between 2007 and 2017, he held a seat for two terms on the Politburo of the Communist Party of China.

Zhang Yufei is a Chinese competitive swimmer who specializes in sprint freestyle and butterfly events.
