Akinoshima Katsumi is a former sumo wrestler from Akitsu, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. He made his professional debut in 1982, and after reaching the top division in 1988 he remained there for 15 years. His highest rank was sekiwake. He was known as the "giant killer" having defeated more yokozuna than any other untitled wrestler (maegashira) in the history of sumo, earning himself 16 gold stars or kinboshi over his career, four more than his nearest kinboshi earning rivals, Takamiyama and Tochinonada. He also has received 19 performance prizes (sanshō), another record in sumo history.

Hitomi Saito , born October 31, 1981 in Niigata, Japan, is a former singer and current radio personality. She was the leader of Melon Kinenbi, an all-girl J-pop group formerly within Hello! Project, until its disbandment in 2010. She is also a former member of Hello! Project's futsal club, Gatas Brilhantes H.P.

Risa Shigetomo is a Japanese long-distance runner. She competed in the marathon at the 2012 Summer Olympics, placing 78th with a time of 2:40:06. She finished in 14th place in the marathon at the 2015 World Championship with a time of 2:32:37. Her personal best is 2:23:23, set in Osaka in 2012, while she was winning the 2012 Osaka marathon. She won the Osaka Marathon again in 2017, in a time of 2:24:22. Winning the Osaka Marathon earned her a place on Japan's 2017 World Championship team.
