Younis Mahmoud
Younis Mahmoud Khalaf, is an Iraqi former professional footballer who played as a striker for the Iraq national football team and is currently the President of the Iraq Former Players Association. One of the country's greatest ever players, Mahmoud captained the team for ten straight years and became an icon of Asian football. He also played for a number of clubs including teams in Iraq, UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, breaking numerous records including becoming the first player in Qatar to score two hat-tricks in the same game.
Hisham al-Hashimi
Hisham al-Hashimi was an Iraqi historian and researcher in security and strategic affairs and extremist groups, and a specialist on the subject of the Islamic state and its supporters. He also was an advisor to the Iraqi government on counter-terrorism.
Abu Tahsin al-Salhi
Abu Tahsin al-Salihi; was an Iraqi veteran sniper. A volunteer in the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, he is credited with killing over 384 ISIS members during the War in Iraq (2013–2017), receiving the nicknames “The Sheikh of Snipers” and “Hawk Eye.”
Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi
Mohammed Tawfik Allawi is an Iraqi politician who was the Minister of Communications in the Iraqi Government and was also Minister of Communications in the Al Maliki government from May 2006 until August 2008 and from 2010 to 2012. Both times he resigned from his position in protest against al-Maliki's sectarian agenda and political interference. He was nominated to serve as Prime Minister of Iraq in February 2020, but withdrew his nomination after failing to win a vote of confidence in the Parliament.
