Mehrdad Oladi was an Iranian footballer who most recently played for Persepolis, Esteghlal, Naft Tehran, Malavan in the Iran Pro League. He usually played in the striker position.

Niloofar Ardalan, also known as Niloofar Ardallani, is an Iranian coach and former player of football and futsal who played in the Iranian women's national football team and the Iranian women's national futsal team and was captain in both teams. She played for the Rah Ahan Football Club team as well as the Futsal Clubs teams of Tejarat Khane Bandar Abbas, Persepolis, and the Islamic Azad University of Tehran.

Dominic Rains is an Iranian-American actor, best known for his roles in independent films, including The Taqwacores (2010) and A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014), as well as his role as Dr. Crockett Marcel in Chicago Med and as Kasius, the main antagonist of the first part of the fifth season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Mohammad Mahdi Yaghoubi was an Iranian bantamweight freestyle wrestler. He competed at the 1952, 1956 and 1960 Olympics and won a silver medal in 1956. He also won a bronze medal at the 1951 World Wrestling Championships and placed fifth in 1954.

Abbas Attar, better known by his mononym Abbas, was an Iranian photographer known for his photojournalism in Biafra, Vietnam and South Africa in the 1970s, and for his extensive essays on religions in later years. He was a member of Sipa Press from 1971 to 1973, a member of Gamma from 1974 to 1980, and joined Magnum Photos in 1981.

Komeil Ghasemi is a retired Iranian wrestler who won a gold medal in the men's freestyle 120 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Ghasemi was awarded his Olympic gold medal after the two wrestlers ahead of him failed drug tests. Ghasemi is the most successful Iranian heavyweight wrestler at the Olympic Games.

Habib Mohebian, commonly known as Habib, was an Iranian singer-songwriter. He was born in (Tabriz), Iran. He first became passionate about music and playing guitar in the last years of high school. He participated in a nationwide competition held by the Iranian Radio and Television Broadcasting and was chosen as one of the 16 short listed candidates. After two years of training, he was drafted and continued his music career in the Officers Clubs and nationwide performances. Habib then settled in the provinces of Western and Eastern Azerbaijan and eventually Tehran. Later he moved to the United States but returned home to Iran in 2009. Habib died on 10 June 2016 in Ramsar, Mazandaran, Iran, due to cardiac arrest.
