Uğur Şahin
Uğur Şahin is a German oncologist and entrepreneur. His main fields of research are cancer research and immunology. He has been Professor of Experimental Oncology at the III Medical Clinic of the University of Mainz since 2006, and chairman of the board and CEO of BioNTech SE since 2008, a company that he co-founded with his wife, Özlem Türeci. Şahin is considered one of the leading COVID-19 vaccine developers.
Luke the Evangelist
Luke the Evangelist is one of the Four Evangelists—the four traditionally ascribed authors of the canonical gospels. The Early Church Fathers ascribed to him authorship of both the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles, which would mean Luke contributed over a quarter of the text of the New Testament, more than any other author. Prominent figures in early Christianity such as Jerome and Eusebius later reaffirmed his authorship, although a lack of conclusive evidence as to the identity of the author of the works has led to discussion in scholarly circles, both secular and religious.
John Chrysostom
John Chrysostom, was an important Early Church Father who served as archbishop of Constantinople. He is known for his preaching and public speaking, his denunciation of abuse of authority by both ecclesiastical and political leaders, the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom, and his ascetic sensibilities. The epithet Χρυσόστομος means "golden-mouthed" in Greek and denotes his celebrated eloquence. Chrysostom was among the most prolific authors in the early Christian Church. Although, both Origen of Alexandria and Augustine of Hippo exceeded Chrysostom.
