Andreas Laskaratos was a satirical poet and writer from the Ionian island of Cefalonia, representative of the Heptanese School (literature). He was excommunicated by the Greek Orthodox Church because his satire targeted many of the church's prominent members.

Soultana (Tania) Tsanaklidou is a Greek artist, both singer and actress, who represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 1978.

Nikolaos "Nikos" Kaklamanakis is the Greek Gold-medal winner who lit the Olympic torch in the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Chaeron was a wrestler and tyrant from Pellene, ancient Achaea.

Eusebia was the second wife of Roman emperor Constantius II. The main sources for the knowledge about her life are Julian's panegyric "Speech of Thanks to the Empress Eusebia" in which he thanks her for her assistance, as well as several remarks by the historian Ammianus Marcellinus.

Christos Callow was born in Athens in 1955. He studied vocal music at the National Conservatory in Athens and theatre at the Katselis Drama School. In 1979 he was given the part of Archbishop Ansnan in Jesus Christ Superstar. Callow appeared in numerous TV series including Granada Television's production of Lord Elgin and Some Stones of No Value. In 1990, he was selected to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Zagreb with the song "Horis Skopo". The song was placed 19th out of 22 entries. He was also a candidate in the greek Eurovision finals in 1987 (3rd) and in 1988.

Garyfallia (Liana) Kanelli, also sometimes credited as Liana K. or simply Liana, is a Greek journalist and Member of the Greek Parliament for the Communist Party of Greece since 2000.

Maria-Anastasia (Marianna) Efstratiou is a Greek singer, connected on several occasions with the Eurovision Song Contestin Norway. In 1987, she appeared as a backing singer for the duo Bang. Efstratiou won the Greek national song contest in 1989, overcoming Greek superstar Anna Vissi, and represented Greece in Lausanne with To Diko Sou Asteri. The song was placed ninth. In 1996, ERT selected her to represent Greece again, this time with the song Emis forame to himona anixiatika, but the song could only manage 14th place in Oslo. Efstratiou sang a number of songs in the semi-finals of the Greek national contest in 1998, none of which won. She has worked with Mimmis Plessas and she also starred on stage on several occasions. She has published two records and a promo cd single. On her debut album there's her cover of "Twist in My Sobriety", originally sung by Tanita Tikaram. She has also participated in the theatrical play Pornography by Manos Hatzidakis. Currently, she is the lead singer of the jazz ensemble Nova Mood.

Apostolos Katsifaras is a Greek politician with PASOK. From 2004 on, he served as a member of the Hellenic Parliament, and shortly held the post of a deputy minister. Elected in 2010 and reelected in 2014, Katsifaras currently serves as the Regional Governor of Western Greece.
