Michael Kiesling is a German board game designer. Many of his games have been nominated for or have won the Spiel des Jahres, a German games award.

Frank Wörndl is a retired German Alpine skier. A four-time national slalom champion, Wörndl never won a World Cup race, and had mediocre results at the 1980 Olympics, finishing 10th in the slalom and 17th in the giant slalom. Yet he became one of the most successful German alpine skiers in history after winning the world slalom title in 1987 and an Olympic silver medal in 1988. He retired the same year and worked as a TV commentator for ZDF and Eurosport. In 2007 he opened a fitness studio in Sonthofen, and since 2011 he also performs as a singer.

Gustav, 7th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, is the eldest child and only son of Princess Benedikte of Denmark and Richard, 6th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.

Philipp Johann Adolf Schmitt was a German officer of the Schutzstaffel (SS) who served as commandant of Fort Breendonk, a Nazi prison camp in German-occupied Belgium during World War II. For a year, he was also in charge of Mechelen transit camp but was dismissed for corruption and black marketeering. He later served in occupied Denmark and the Netherlands. After the war, he was convicted of war crimes and was executed in 1950. Schmitt was the last person executed in Belgium.

Wittekind Adolf Heinrich Georg-Wilhelm, Prince of Waldeck and Pyrmont has since 1967 been the head of the House of Waldeck and Pyrmont.

Greta Bösel was a trained nurse. Born in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, Germany, she became a camp guard at Ravensbrück in August 1944.
