Margaret of Bourbon was the daughter of Charles I, Duke of Bourbon (1401–1456) and Agnes of Burgundy (1407–1476).

Marcel René von Herrfeldt was a German painter and protagonist of the Munich School. Initially adhering to the movement of Art Nouveau sans phrase, Herrfeldt later integrates elements of New Objectivity. Fusing Art Nouveau and elements of New Objectivity, he develops a style referred to as expressive realism in respective literature.

Vincent Barteau is a former French road racing cyclist. He is best known for wearing the yellow jersey in the 1984 Tour de France, retaining the lead for 12 days, and winning the stage on Bastille day in the 1989 Tour de France. He retired the following year. After retirement he bought a franchise from the Jeff de Bruges chocolate brand and operates three Jeff de Bruges shops in his native Normandy. In addition he directs the Tour de France's publicity caravan and has performed as a stand-up comedian and worked as a consultant for Eurosport.

Louis Gérardin was a French track cyclist.

Florian Rousseau is a former French track cyclist who won three gold medals and one silver at the Summer Olympics. He was popular among spectators for the facial expressions he pulled - many of them seeming to make his eyes bulge - to help him concentrate at the start of races. In retirement he became one of France's national sprint coaches.

Simon Nora was a French official who served in several French cabinets and was the Inspecteur-general in the Ministry of Finance. He was asked by President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing to write on the impact of the new communications technology on France. The report, The Computerization of Society appeared in 1978 and became a best-seller in France. The report was one of the first to propose an information highway, one result of which was the Minitel program.

Paul Belloni Du Chaillu was a French-American traveler, zoologist, and anthropologist. He became famous in the 1860s as the first modern European outsider to confirm the existence of gorillas, and later the Pygmy people of central Africa. He later researched the prehistory of Scandinavia.

Gleb Vasilyevich Plaksin was a French-born Soviet and Russian film actor and musician.
