Wayne Martin Messam is a former American football wide receiver, businessman, and politician serving as the mayor of Miramar, Florida, a position he has held since 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he was first elected to the Miramar City Commission in 2011 before defeating incumbent mayor Lori Cohen Moseley in the 2015 election. Messam is also a general contractor and owner of a construction firm.

Joseph Dillon Gunkel is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Hanshin Tigers of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He previously played for the Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins organizations.

They traded him to the Tigers before the 2015 season. Greene was an All-Star in 2019.

Nicholas William Calathes is a Greek American professional basketball player for FC Barcelona Lassa of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators. An All-EuroLeague First Team selection in 2018 and 2019, Calathes has also played in the NBA and the VTB United League. He represents the National Basketball Team of Greece internationally.
