Hana Hegerová was a Slovak singer and actress. Often referred to as the Queen of Czechoslovak chanson, she gained popularity primarily as a singer of chansons. Outside of her homebase, Hegerová has attained a recognition especially in German-speaking countries. She lived in Prague, Czech Republic.

Richard Sulík is a Slovak politician, economist and businessman. He is the leader of the political party Freedom and Solidarity and currently serving as Deputy Prime Minister for Finance and Minister of Economy in Government of Slovakia led by Eduard Heger.

Rudolf von Laban, also known as Rudolf Laban, was an Austro-Hungarian dance artist and theorist. He is considered as one of the pioneers of modern dance in Europe as the "Founding Father of the Expressionist Dance" in Germany. His work laid the foundations for Laban Movement Analysis, Labanotation, other more specific developments in dance notation and the evolution of many varieties of Laban movement analysis. He is considered to be one of the most important figures in the history of dance, though his legacy remains tainted by his role in the Nazi movement of the 1930s in Europe.

Justín Javorek was a Slovak football coach and goalkeeper for the Czechoslovakia national team.

Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács is a Slovakian professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) player and former Counter-Strike: Source (CS:S) and Counter-Strike (CS) player. GuardiaN has played at a high level in all three mentioned Counter-Strike games. He is known for being one of the best players with the AWP and one of the best players overall. He played for team Natus Vincere (Na'Vi) for most of his career in CS:GO until entering free agency in February 2021.

Ernst von Dohnányi was a Hungarian composer, pianist and conductor. He used a German form of his name on most of his published compositions.

Jana Nagyová is a Slovak actress, most noted for her portrayal as Princess Arabela in Czechoslovak television series Arabela. She studied opera singing and piano at the Bratislava Conservatory.

Juraj Herz was a Slovak film director, actor, and scene designer, associated with the Czechoslovak New Wave movement of the 1960s. He is best known for his 1968 horror/black comedy The Cremator, often cited as one of the best Czechoslovak films of all time, though many of his other films achieved cult status. He directed for both film and television, and in the latter capacity he directed episodes of a French-Czech television series based on George Simenon's Maigret novels.
