Sale-Liis Teesalu is an Estonian female badminton player.

Aare Laanemets was an Estonian actor and theatre director, who is possibly best recalled for his role as Joosep Toots in three film adaptations of novels penned by author Oskar Luts: Kevade (1969), Suvi (1976), and Sügis (1990). Laanemets' career began as a teenager and he worked steadily as an adult as a stage, film, and television actor until his death in 2000, aged 46. In 1984, he co-founded the Pärnu School Theatre, where he worked as an instructor and stage director.

Katrin Siska is an Estonian celebrity, vlogger, musician and member of the Estonian pop-rock band Vanilla Ninja.

Maria Sergejeva is an Estonian former competitive pair skater and model. With former partner Ilja Glebov, she is the 2007–10 Estonian national champion and represented Estonia at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Following her competitive retirement in 2010, Sergejeva performed worldwide in theatre and arena shows, including Disney on Ice, Fantasy on Ice, Illusion on Ice, Magic on Ice and The Snow King.

Mart Siimann was the Prime Minister of Estonia from 1997 to 1999, representing the liberal/centrist Estonian Coalition Party. He was the president of the Estonian Olympic Committee from 2001 to 2012.

Karl Ernst Claus was a German-Russian chemist and naturalist of Baltic German origin. Claus was a professor at Kazan State University and a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He was primarily known as a chemist and discoverer of the chemical element ruthenium, which he named after his homeland of Russia, but also as one of the first scientists who applied quantitative methods in botany.
