Andros Kyprianou is a Cypriot politician. He has been Secretary-General of AKEL since 2009.

Elena Patroklou was born in Nicosia in 1968. She began her musical career studying guitar and piano when she was just ten years old. She completed her musical studies in Vienna and Cyprus and received her music diploma in 1989. She represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with a Kypros Charalambous composition entitled SOS finishing ninth place with 60 points.

George Nicolaou is a Cyprus judge born in Larnaca and currently the Judge of the European Court of Human Rights in respect of Cyprus

Eleftheria Eleftheriou is a Greek Cypriot singer, musician, and actress. She came to prominence through her participation in the second season of the Greek version of The X Factor. Shortly after her elimination, Sony Music Greece signed her and submitted her as a candidate to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. She was later disqualified from the national final, following the leak of her song onto the internet by an unknown party.

Kyriakos Charalambides is one of the most renowned and celebrated living Cypriot poets. His poetry, essays, translations, and critical analysis celebrate the ideas of Western civilisation, expressed through the language and history of Greek culture. His poetic opus adds to the tradition established by such modern Greek poets as Constantine P. Cavafy, Giorgos Seferis and Odysseas Elytis. His poetry though holds steadfastly to the Greek Cypriot linguistic register.

Marinos Satsias is a retired Cypriot professional footballer who spent his entire 19-year career playing for APOEL in Cyprus.

Osman Alkaş is a Cypriot-Turkish actor. He is one of the founders of Nicosia Municipal Theater and he is still active in this theater. He was involved in the production of Torba, a popular program among the Turkish Cypriot people, and was featured in the film Gölgeler ve Suretler and the TV series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki. He then acted in the films Uzun Hikaye, Hükümet Kadın 2, Sarmaşık, etc. His performance was particularly praised for his role in the film Sarmaşık.
