Saint Barbatus of Benevento, also known as Barbas, was a bishop of Benevento from 663 to 682. He succeeded Ildebrand in this capacity. He assisted in a church council called by Pope Agatho in Rome in 680 and in 681 attended the Third Council of Constantinople against the Monothelites.

Diomede Carafa (1492–1560) was an Italian Roman Catholic bishop and cardinal.

Vicente Filísola was an Italian-born Spanish and Mexican military and political figure during the 19th century. He is most well known for his role in leading the short-lived Mexican annexation of Central America between 1822 and 1823.

Lorenzo Schioppa was an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See. He became an archbishop in 1920 and served as Apostolic Nuncio in Hungary, the Netherlands, and Lithuania.
