Johanna Maria Louise Loisinger was an Austrian actress, pianist and operatic soprano singer. She was born in Preßburg, Austria, the daughter of John Loisinger and Maria Meier.

Dr. Adolf Zsigmondy, aka Adolph Zsigmondy was a dentist of Hungarian origin who lived in Vienna. He is best known for inventing the idea of charting teeth on the Zsigmondy-cross. This is the basis of the presently used marking method recommended by the FDI.

Alfred Tauber was a Hungarian-born Austrian mathematician, known for his contribution to mathematical analysis and to the theory of functions of a complex variable: he is the eponym of an important class of theorems with applications ranging from mathematical and harmonic analysis to number theory.
