Azerin is an Azerbaijani singer and senior lieutenant.

Gurban Gurbanov is an Azerbaijani football manager and former footballer. He currently manages FK Qarabağ. He played as a forward. Starting out with local club Kur in 1988, Gurbanov had a decorated 18-year professional career. He scored 178 goals in 399 league matches. With 14 goals in 68 matches, he is also Azerbaijan's all-time leading goalscorer in international matches. In 2017-2018 he was the manager of Azerbaijan national football team.

Nargiz Ilgar qizi Birk-Petersen is an Azerbaijani-American lawyer, presenter and model. She is known for presenting the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan together with Eldar Gasimov and Leyla Aliyeva.

Arif Mircalal oglu Pashayev is an Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan, academician of ANAS, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, laureate of the State Prize of the Azerbaijan SSR (1991), rector of the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan.

Almas Ildyrym, born Ildyrym Almaszadeh, was an Azerbaijani poet. After the Bolsheviks established their power in Azerbaijan in 1920, the fact that Ildyrym had been born into a wealthy merchant family plagued him for the rest of his life. Though he was accepted to the faculty of Oriental Literature at Azerbaijan State University, it was not long before they dismissed him because of his family origins.

Ramin Namiq oglu Guluzade is an Azerbaijani politician. He served as the Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan from January 15, 2016 to January 26, 2021.

Dmitriy Sergeyevich Kramarenko is a former Azerbaijani football goalkeeper. Currently he is an academy coach at CSKA Moscow. His father is the former long-time goalkeeper for PFC Neftchi Baku, Sergey Kramarenko. Kramarenko also holds Russian citizenship.

Dinara Alieva is an Azerbaijani and Russian opera singer (soprano). She is currently a soloist at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, where she made her debut in 2009 as Liù in Puccini's opera Turandot. People's Artist of Azerbaijan (2018).
