Miguel "Miki" Nadal Furriel, is a Spanish comedian and actor known for his work on television and in the theatre. He studied law but abandoned his studies for the stage. He started his television career in La sonrisa del pelícano in 1997.

Teresa Perales Fernández is an S5, SB4, SM5 classified Spanish swimmer, politician and motivational speaker who has won a total of 26 Paralympic medals at the 2000 Summer Paralympics, 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2008 Summer Paralympics, 2012 Summer Paralympics and 2016 Summer Paralympics, with six of those medals earned at the 2012 London Games. She is the most decorated Spanish Paralympian in history.

Fernando Simón Soria is a Spanish epidemiologist serving as Director of the Coordination Centre for Health Alerts and Emergencies of the Ministry of Health. He came to public prominence as spokesman for the special committee on Ebola virus disease in Spain in 2014, and a similar role during the COVID-19 pandemic. Simón tested positive for coronavirus on 30 March 2020.

Immensely successful in his lifetime, Goya is often referred to as both the last of the Old Masters and the first of the moderns. He was also one of the great portraitists of his time.

Saint Lawrence or Laurence was one of the seven deacons of the city of Rome, Italy, under Pope Sixtus II who were martyred in the persecution of the Christians that the Roman Emperor Valerian ordered in 258. Lawrence encountered the future Pope Sixtus II, who was of Greek origin and one of the most famous and highly esteemed teachers, in Caesaraugusta. Eventually, both left Spain for Rome. When Sixtus became the Pope in 257, he ordained Lawrence as a deacon, and though Lawrence was still young appointed him first among the seven deacons who served in the cathedral church.
