Sameera Reddy is a former Indian actress who primarily starred in Hindi-language films. She has also appeared in a few Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam-language films.

Tikkana (1205–1288) was born into a Telugu speaking Niyogi Brahmin family during the Golden Age of the Kakatiya dynasty. He was the second poet of the "Trinity of Poets " that translated Mahabharata into Telugu. Nannaya Bhattaraka was the first to translate two and a half chapters of Mahabharata. Tikkana translated the final 15 chapters, but did not undertake translating the half-finished Aranya Parvamu. The Telugu people remained without this last translation for more than a century, until it was translated by Errana.

Karnam Malleswari is a retired Indian weightlifter. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal at the Olympics. In 1995, she received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India's highest sporting honour, and in 1999, the civilian Padma Shri award.

In 2014, he directed the critically acclaimed anthology film, Chandamama Kathalu which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for that year.

Nadendla Bhaskara Rao was the Chief minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh for a brief period in 1984. He served the shortest term yet, as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh – 31 days. His son Nadendla Manohar is Ex MLA for Tenali Constituency who is also the last Speaker for United Andhra Pradesh assembly.

Gunasekhar directed the Children's classic Ramayanam (1997), which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film, including several state Nandi Awards for that year, and was screened at the International Children's Film Festival of India.

Vijayalakshmi Vadlapatla, better known by her stage name Silk Smitha, was an Indian film actress who worked predominantly in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. She entered the industry as a sideto supporting actress, and was first noticed for her role as "Silk" in the 1979 Tamil film, Vandichakkaram. She became a major sex symbol and was the most sought-after erotic actress in the 1980s. In a career spanning 17 years, she appeared in over 450 films. Due to uncanny similarities, Silk Smitha was popularly known as Marilyn Monroe of Indian cinema.

Radha Krishna Kumar Indian film director and screenwriter who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut Jil (film) produced by UV Creations. He worked as an assistant director under filmmaker Chandra Sekhar Yeleti for the films Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005), Okkadunnadu (2007), Prayanam , Sahasam
