Consequently, many postmodern groups, such as the poets of the language school, include Olson as a primary and precedent figure. He described himself not so much as a poet or writer but as "an archeologist of morning."

Bagindo Azizchan
Bagindo Azizchan, is the second Mayor of Padang after independence, which was inaugurated on August 15, 1946 replacing Mr. Abubakar Jaar. He died at the age of 36 years after being involved in a battle against the Netherlands. His body was interred at the Heroes Cemetery "Bahagia", Bukittinggi. On November 9, 2005 Azizchan was declared a National Hero of Indonesia.
