Lionel Cust
Sir Lionel Henry Cust was a British art historian, courtier and museum director. He was director of the National Portrait Gallery from 1895 to 1909 and co-edited The Burlington Magazine from 1909 to 1919. He was the father of Lionel George Archer Cust.

Julian Bell
Julian Heward Bell was an English poet, and the son of Clive and Vanessa Bell. The writer Quentin Bell was his younger brother and the writer and painter Angelica Garnett was his half-sister. His relationship with his mother is explored in Susan Sellers' novel Vanessa and Virginia.

Herbert A. Cahn
Herbert Adolf Cahn was a classical archaeologist, numismatist, coin-dealer and antiquities-dealer. He was awarded the medal of the Royal Numismatic Society in 1971. Born in Germany, he became a Swiss citizen in 1949.
