Wu Chin-jing is a Taiwanese sprint hurdler. He competed in the men's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He won the gold medal at the 1983 Asian Championships. He also competed at the 1983 and 1987 World Championships without reaching the final.

Hocheng Hong is a Taiwanese academic. He served as the Deputy Minister of the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan from 2012 to 2014 and is the current president of National Tsing Hua University. He is the younger brother of Hochen Tan.

Xiaoxing Xi is a Chinese-born American physicist. He is the Laura H. Carnell Professor and former Chair at the Physics Department of Temple University in Philadelphia. In May 2015, the United States Department of Justice arrested him on charges of having sent restricted American technology to China. All charges against him were dropped in September 2015.
