Geert Verheyen is a former Belgian professional road racing cyclist who competed as a professional between 1994 and 2011. He was born in Diest, and is the cousin of cyclist David Verheyen.

Katrin Apel is a retired German biathlete. 1.72 m, 61 kg (134 lb). Apel now resides in Gräfenroda, and is a member of the SV Eintracht Frankenhain club. Like most German winter sport athletes, Apel is a sport soldier, performing normal soldier duties but released for training and competitions.

Ana Catarina Mendes is a Portuguese politician. As a member of the Portuguese Socialist Party (PS) she has been a deputy in the Portuguese Assembly of the Republic since 1995 and, from 2019, led the party in the National Assembly. In March 2022, she was appointed Minister of Parliamentary Affairs in the XXIII Constitutional Government.

Jason McCartney is an American former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 1999 and 2013 for seven different teams. His 2004 Tour de Georgia stage win led to his being named the "North American rider of the year" by VeloNews Magazine. He represented the USA Olympic team in the road racing event in 2004 and 2008. Jason is also a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School. He lives in Coralville, Iowa.
