Zhu Jun, courtesy name Gongwei, was a military general and official who lived during the Eastern Han dynasty of China.

Zhu Xiaodan is the Chinese politician who served as Governor of Guangdong from 2011 to 2016. A lifelong Communist functionary, Zhu was appointed Vice Governor of Guangdong in February 2010 and became acting Governor in November 2011 following the resignation of Huang Huahua. Zhu has spent his entire political career in Guangdong province. He was elected Governor in January 2012.

Zhu Tao (朱滔), formally the Prince of Tongyi (通義王), was a Chinese military general, monarch, and politician during the Tang dynasty. He served as a general who initially served imperial causes during the reigns of Emperor Daizong and Emperor Dezong, but later turned against imperial rule in alliance with Wang Wujun, Tian Yue, and Li Na. Eventually, when his brother Zhu Ci rebelled at the Tang capital Chang'an and claimed imperial title, Zhu Tao became his crown prince, but after Zhu Ci was defeated and killed in 784, Zhu Tao submitted to Emperor Dezong again.

Zhu Ci was a Chinese military general, monarch, and rebel during the Tang dynasty. He initially served as military governor (Jiedushi) of Lulong Circuit, but later became a general for the imperial government. Resentful that he was removed from his command due to the rebellion by his brother Zhu Tao, when Emperor Dezong of Tang fled the capital Chang'an after a mutiny, Zhu Ci declared himself emperor of a new state of Qin. He was defeated and forced to flee Chang'an in 784 and was killed in flight.

Zhu Biao was the Hongwu Emperor's first son and crown prince of the Ming dynasty. His early death created a crisis in the dynasty's first succession that was resolved by the successful usurpation of his brother Zhu Di as the Yongle Emperor, an act with far-reaching consequences for the future of China.

Zhu Shugui, courtesy name Tianqiu and art name Yiyuanzi, formally known as the Prince of Ningjing, was a Ming dynasty prince and the last of the pretenders to the Ming throne after the fall of the Ming Empire in 1644. He committed suicide when forces of the Manchu-led Qing dynasty conquered the Southern Ming dynasty's Kingdom of Tungning in Taiwan, where he took shelter after mainland China fell under Qing control. He was a ninth-generation descendant of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming dynasty, via the line of Zhu Yuanzhang's 15th son, Zhu Zhi 朱植. Zhu Zhi was the son of Zhu Yuanzhang and one of his Korean concubines, a female consort surnamed Han from Goryeo in Korea. Zhu Zhi's heirs used the generation names "Gui, Hao, En, Chong, Zhi, Yun, Reng, Qi, Bao, He, Xian, Shu, Yan, Zun, Ru, Cai, Han, Li, Long, Yu".
