Rafizi is also a former Member of Parliament of Malaysia for Pandan in Selangor from 2013 to 2018. He is the founder of the whistleblower organization, National Oversight and Whistleblowers Centre (NOW) and the election volunteerism organization, Invoke Malaysia (INVOKE).
