Nir Barkat is an Israeli businessman and politician. He served as mayor of Jerusalem between the years 2008–2018. During his tenure, Barkat has "embraced new data-driven tools in hopes of improving life for all of his constituents", working to enhance culture, promote tourism, address social welfare issues, encourage the development of local high-tech, and provide opportunities for the ultra-Orthodox and Arab communities in Jerusalem.

Nir Zidkyahu, also known as Nir Z, is an Israeli studio-session drummer, and the brother of Blackfield's drummer Tomer Z. He played the drums for eight songs on Genesis' 1997 album, Calling All Stations, and subsequently joined the band for their 1998 tour.

Nir Klinger is an Israeli former footballer, and currently the manager of Hapoel Tel Aviv. During the 1990s, Klinger served as Captain for Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Israel national football team.
