Mehmet Günal is a Turkish economist and politician, who serves as the Deputy Leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) responsible for Turkish world and International relations since 11 May 2016. He has served as a Member of Parliament for Antalya since 22 July 2007.

Mehmet Hacıoğlu is a former Turkish soccer player and coach of Fenerbahçe PAF. He started his professional football managing career with Erzurumspor and also managed of Gaziosmanpaşaspor and coached of Çaykur Rizespor and Etimesgut Şekerspor. He was working for Fenerbahçe S.K. from 2004 till 2008. He also coached the football team of Sabanci University enjoying an attacking style of 3-2-3-1-2 formation with center-backs double man-marking plus a sweeper. His son İsmail Hacıoğlu is a famous actor and his daughter Kardelen Hacıoğlu is currently residing in Canada, majoring in sociology and minoring in criminology. He played at defence during his professional career. He played for Fenerbahçe (1980–84), Denizlispor (1984–86), Bakırköyspor (1986–93), Beyoğlu Kapalıçarşıspor (1993) and Gaziosmanpaşaspor (1993–94).

Mehmet Ocaktan is a Turkish journalist, and a former deputy for the Justice and Development Party. Since June 2013 he is the editor-in-chief of Akşam. Previous journalistic roles include being the founding editor of Yeni Şafak and the managing editor of Star.

Mehmet Özal is a Turkish wrestler in Greco-Roman style. He is member of the İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi S.K..

Mehmet Tarhan is a Turkish conscientious objector who was imprisoned for refusing military service. Tarhan had been sentenced to four years in a military prison for disobedience after refusing to wear a military uniform, a sentence that is evidently the longest ever given for such an offense in Turkey. He was released in March 2006 after spending several months in prison. As of 2014, he is a member of the party assembly of the Peoples' Democratic Party and a member of the executive committee of its consultative body Peoples' Democratic Congress.
