Markéta Vondroušová
Markéta Vondroušová is a Czech professional tennis player. She has a career-high Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranking of world No. 14. Vondroušová finished runner-up at the 2019 French Open, where she became the first teenage Grand Slam finalist on the WTA Tour since Caroline Wozniacki nearly a decade earlier. She has won one WTA singles title in four finals in total.

Markéta Sluková is a Czech beach volleyball player. She competes on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour and was named the FIVB World Tour Top Rookie in 2010. In addition to being consistently ranked among the top fifteen teams in the world her biggest achievements are: 5th place at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, 3 gold FIVB medals and 1 bronze FIVB medal. As of August 2015 she plays with Barbora Hermannová and they are coached by Simon Nausch.
Markéta Zinnerová
Markéta Jílková is a Czech novelist, screenwriter, author of literature for children and youth. After studying in Prague, she worked in awareness-raising facilities in Liberec and Sokolov. From 1962 to 1964, she was employed as a train attendant. At the end of the sixties, she worked for the publishers of Mladý svět and Květy. From 1971 to 1976, she broadcast a literary show for children and youth for Czechoslovak television. Since 1976, she has been a writer by profession. She worked for the brief Czechoslovak Radio and, from 1991 to 1992, worked as a methodologist at a children's home. From 1981 to 1985, she studied dramaturgy and screenwriting at Prague's FAMU.
