Her career began after being introduced to various musicians, including singer Paloma Faith, for whom she sang backing vocals. In 2010, La Havas signed to Warner Bros. Records, spending two years developing her songwriting, before releasing any music. La Havas' debut studio album, Is Your Love Big Enough? Lianne Shirley is a badminton player from New Zealand. She competed at the 2001 World Badminton Championships in Seville, the 2005 World Badminton Championships in Anaheim and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. With her partner, Craig Cooper, she won the 2004 Canterbury International and the 2004 New Zealand Open in mixed doubles.

In 2015, she won the silver medal in the European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. In 2016, she also competed at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
