František "Franz" Straka is a Czech former football player and current manager of Fotbal Třinec.

František Ignác Antonín Tůma was an important Czech composer of the Baroque era. Born in Kostelec nad Orlici, Bohemia, he lived the greater part of his life in Vienna, first as director of music for Franz Joseph, Count Kinsky, later filling a similar office for the widow of Emperor Karl VI. He was an important late-baroque composer, organist, gambist and theorbist.

František Kordač was a Czech Roman Catholic clergyman. He was Archbishop of Prague from 1919 to 1931.

František Jiránek was a Czech (Bohemian) Baroque composer, musician and very likely a student of Antonio Vivaldi.

František Martin Pecháček, also Francis Martin Pechatschek, Pechaczek, Behatschek was a Bohemian violinist, pedagog, arranger and diligent composer. His son Franz Pecháček became known as a virtuoso violinist and composer. The collections of the Municipal Museum in Usti nad Orlici contain two of his compositions, a piece for violin and orchestra entitled Rondeau brilliant and a concert duo for two violins, Polonaise.

František Bartoš was a Moravian ethnomusicologist, folklorist, folksong collector, and dialectologist. He is viewed as the successor of František Sušil, the pioneer of Moravian ethnomusicology. He notably organized the collecting, categorizing and editing of hundreds of Moravian folksongs which were published is a four volume collection along with about 4000 folksongs from other ethnic traditions. The folksongs appear in ethnographic monographs and the work as a whole is viewed as one of the most important folk song collections ever published. However, Bartoš, like many other early European folk music scholars, sometimes changed the texts of the folk songs, thereby reducing the documentary value of the work.

František Lýdie Gahura was a Czech architect and sculptor who became famous for his collaboration on the architectural and urban design of Zlín, a city in southeastern Czech Republic. He worked for the Bata Shoes organization in the 1920s and 1930s. Gahura was one of a number of Czech architects to design the "Bata houses" and Bata shoe factory at East Tilbury, Essex, England. The most impressive architectural work of František Lydie Gahura is Thomas Bata Memorial. The building process started in 1932 and the monument was open with ceremony on the day of the first anniversary of Tomas Bata death that is on July 12, 1933. It is the most valuable building of the Zlín functionalism.
