Rochelle Paula Walensky is an American physician-scientist who is the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. Prior to her appointment at the CDC, she was the Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Walensky is an expert on AIDS and HIV.

Loren D. Walensky is an American physician-scientist and pediatric oncologist at the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute since 2003 and a professor of pediatrics at the Dana–Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. He researches peptides and oncogenic pathways. Walensky graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with a Ph.D. and M.D. in 1997. He completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at Dana-Farber and Boston Children's Hospital. Walensky is married to Rochelle Walensky, the 19th director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
