Raghuram Govinda Rajan is an Indian economist and the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Between 2003 and 2006 he was Chief Economist and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund. From September 2013 through September 2016 he was the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India; in 2015, during his tenure at the RBI, he became the Vice-Chairman of the Bank for International Settlements.

Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje, popularly known by his moniker Chhota Rajan, is an Indian criminal and mobster who served as the boss of a major crime syndicate based in Mumbai. He is currently serving a life sentence at Tihar Jail in New Delhi.

P. T. R. Palanivel Thiagarajan is an Indian politician and is the Finance Minister of Tamil Nadu from May 7th 2021. He is the son of the late P. T. R. Palanivel Rajan, also a politician. His grandfather, P. T. Rajan, was the Chief Minister of Madras Presidency from 4 April 1936, to 24 August 1936. He was also the last President of the Justice Party. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election in 2016 and 2021 from Madurai Central.

After making his debut as a director with the heist thriller Naanayam (2010), he achieved a breakthrough with the action thriller Naaigal Jaakirathai (2014).
