Amala Akkineni is an Indian film actress, Bharata Natyam dancer, and an animal welfare activist. She appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam Hindi, and Kannada a language films. She has won two Filmfare Awards South, namely Best Actress - Malayalam for 1991 film Ulladakkam and Best Supporting Actress – Telugu for 2012 film Life Is Beautiful. Amala is the co-founder of The Blue Cross of Hyderabad, a non-government organisation (NGO) in Hyderabad, India, which works towards the welfare of animals and preservation of animal rights in India.

Akhil Akkineni is an American actor of Indian descent who works in Telugu films. He first appeared on screen at the age of one in Sisindri (1995) and debuted in a lead role with Akhil (2015). He has received two Filmfare Awards South.
